About Us

Olá!
We are AlmaOhana, a cooperative started in southwest Portugal in 2021 by an international group of dreamers.

OUR MISSION... is to regenerate the land we steward and become an educational centre for regenerative living.
We aim to accomplish this by reforestation, implementing water retention landscapes, agroecology and balancing self-realization and service to all with a focus on holistic health, self-sustainability so we can offer spaces and retreats for people to connect and support one another.To find out more, read our statutes or concept, check out the presentation and explore more in the "projects" section.

PHILOSOPHY
We believe that living in harmony is possible and desirable. We believe that everyone can heal and learn. We believe that it's on us, "normal people", to explore, live and share alternative and regenerative ways of living. For ourselves, our beloveds and the next seven generations to come and beyond.

NEWSIn 2024 we aim to open Além in downtown Odemira.
Além will offer itself to be the epicentre for regenerative activites in the bioregion with a cafe/bistro, an organic market and a multi-use space. More below.
